After a test run of the route, there was more pavement than expected and some improvements were in order. The route from Sequim to the mainland has been completely revamped and ridden many times. There's more dirt, one fewer ferry ride, a brewery, Pie, and some amazing riding. Oh, and some hills.

    The Cross-Washington mountain bike route is a 700 mile, mostly off-road route from the Pacific Ocean to the Washington/Idaho border. The route features a mixture of singletrack, dirt roads, and a bit of pavement as it crosses the Evergreen State.
